Mountain View meetings to go online

Starting Tuesday, Mountain View City Council meetings will be webcast, so anyone who wants to watch and hear them without attending can do so from their computers or PDA devices.

Archived broadcasts also will be available on the city's Web site, www.mountainview.gov, which offers a keyword search.

And starting in May, Environmental Planning Commission meetings are slated to go online.

The new service is provided by San Francisco-based Granicus Inc.
