Shoppers delight at 'Twice as Bright' event
Neiman Marcus at Stanford Shopping Center saluted its InCircle customers with a fun-filled shopping party on Dec. 7.About 670 customers and guests at the "Twice as Bright" shopping event received double points on their purchases, sipped champagne, sampled festive food and enjoyed a variety of entertainment.
"The annual InCircle Party is our way of saying thank you to our loyal customers. It's a night everyone looks forward to," said general manager Terry Brown. "I know I say this every year, but I think it was the best one yet."
Everyone liked the musical entertainment, ranging from the Victorian-costumed "Merrie Olde Christmas Carolers" to the OnOne band and DJ Miguel.
There were long lines for the evening's special attractions, including caricatures, tarot card readings with "Lady Kyle," and henna tattoos by artist "Satvir." Alexandra Kenyon had fun showing her forearm tattoo to her mother Michelle Kenyon as well as Michael Evangel and George Skeen.
For the second year, guests has a set of souvenir photos taken in a photo booth (similar to the one in the 2005 Christmas Catalogue). Diane Ely, a former Miss England, with her daughter, Margarida Butcher, and her dog, Daisy, smiled and showed off their pictures.
Shoppers included Bud and Sheryl Root Hyler, Pat and Bob Reed, Judy Jacobs, Betty Bradford, Eleanor Noe, Kelly Nelson of the Four Seasons, Jeff Richardson from Los Altos Diamond Broker, Helen and Yim Wu, Ashley Mazahere, John and Judy Hendricks, Melissa Huang, Susan Martin and Sally Onetto.
Toni and Steve Krajcar shopped early in the day and returned for the party, and Betty Bradford, who shopped the previous day, brought her friend Eleanor Noe to the party. Stanford Shopping Center manager John Benvenuto also dropped by.
